My wife and I have been fortunate in being able to travel to Europe several times. The part that is the least enjoyable happens at the airports. On some occasions, it has been rather smooth at an airport, and at other time not so smooth. But those minor episodes are far overshadowed by the fun of the actual time spent in another country.
Let's take a look at some Italian words worth knowing on a trip.
- l'aereo (plane)
- l'aeroporto (airport)
- i bagagli (luggage) . . . I'm still working on the "gli" sound
- il biglietto (ticket)
- il passaporto (passport)
- la vacanza (vacation)
- la valigia (suitcase)
- il viaggio (trip)
- il volo (flight)
- il volo diretto (nonstop flight)
- l'albergo (hotel)
- la dogana (customs)
- la prenotazione (reservation)
- lo scalo (stopover)
Alla prossima!
