Day 84 of My Italian Learning Journal*

This year I have completed most of my gift shopping early. Shopping on the Internet has made purchasing gifts much easier. Last year was still doing a bit of shopping the day before Christmas.

Not this year, with the help of the internet. Delivery of items purchased on the Internet has been swift and reliable.I am almost a month ahead compared to last year. (You are welcomed to send Italian grammar corrections in the comments -- that helps me improve.)

• Quest'anno comprare su Internet ha reso l'acquisto dei regali molto più semplice.
  Shopping on the Internet has made purchasing gifts much easier this year.

• Tutti i regali sono stati consegnati in due o tre giorni.
  All items I have ordered have been delivered in two to three days.

• Oggi ho fatto un giro per negozi per acquistare un paio di regali di Natale.
  Today I was driving to shops for a few Christmas presents.

• I conducenti devono esercitarsi ad avere pazienza nell'aspettare i semafori e nel cercare parcheggio.
  Drivers need to practice patience waiting for traffic lights and looking for places to park.

• I commessi del negozio sono stati molto pazienti, con mia grande sorpresa.
  Shop clerks have been very patient to my surprise.

• In un prossimo post, vorrei condividere un link di un sito web nel quale è possibile seguire Babbo Natale in giro per il mondo.
  In a later post, I will share a link to a website where you can follow Santa Claus traveling around the world.
