A Boy's Hero

Day 85 of My Italian Learning Journal*

This evening the old 1940's movie The Mark of Zorro was on TV. I recall as a boy watching this movie, and I had no knowledge that it was already ten years old. The hero coming to the rescue -- that theme always works. There have been many remakes of the story about El Zorro, from the adventureous to the comical.

Ascota Questo:

• ispirati dal film, da ragazzi abbiamo giocato a impersonare Zorro con maschere, mantelle e spade.
  Inspired by the movie, as boys we played Zorro with masks, capes and swords.

• Chi non ama un eroe?
  Who does not love a hero?
