Weather Change

Day 88 of My Italian Learning Journal*

The weather where I live is, for the most part, warm and mild. Many residents joke about not having a winter season in South Texas. So, today was a bit of a shock. Up to the end of November, our weather was more like Summer and late Fall. Then today's cold front came in with rain.I know that in many parts of the world it gets much colder, but our cold is uncomfortable for many of us.

  Today the weatherman on TV enjoyed talking about the cold weather.

• La nostra temperatura è scesa di 40 gradi Fahrenheit.
  Our temperature dropped by 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

• Possibili folate di neve sono state previste, la qual cosa sarebbe rara.
  Possible snow flurries were predicted, and that would be rare.

• Le Previsioni del tempo per sabato sembrano buone.
  The weather for Saturday looks good.
