Day 221 of My Italian Learning Journal*
_____________________
Today, with the help of a Hinative.com member, Anasdav, I learned an
interesting point of Italian grammar: the way English plurals are translated
into Italian. I still consider myself as a beginner as I independently learn Italian,
so there is still much for me to learn. Today I have learned what is referred
to as “loan” words. For example, when using the plural “computers” and translating
into Italian, the word remains singular as in “due computer” in Italian. An
exception is the word “marines.” This is an excellent lesson to keep in mind.
All the contents you mentioned in post is too good and can be very useful. I will keep it in mind, thanks for sharing the information keep updating, looking forward for more posts. Thanks loan with a credit score of 650
