Day 235 of My Italian Learning Journal*

So how quick is this: Mail order catalog arrives via mail today; my wife spots an item she likes; I place an order for the item online; and, the item will be at a local store ready for pickup tomorrow! Plus, the item has a discount as a bonus. Now, that's too easy. (Corrections for my grammar in the practice Italian script below are welcome -- I still have a lot of Italian to learn.)

Ascolta Questo:

• Mi chiedo quanti soldi i commercianti spendono per spedire i cataloghi dei loro prodotti?
  I wonder how much money merchants spend mailing catalogs of their products?

• Questi commercianti offrono buoni sconti e offrono anche la spedizione gratuita.
  These merchants offer good discounts and also offer free shipping.

• Mia moglie ha visto un articolo che le piace in un catalogo che abbiamo ricevuto oggi.
  My wife spotted an item she likes in a catalog we received today.

• Sì, sto ordinando l'articolo su Internet. (Non dovrebbe essere così facile).
  Yes, there I am ordering the item on the Internet. (It should not be so easy.)
