Family Reunion

Day 266 of My Italian Learning Journal*

So when does my vacation really start? Officially it began yesterday; however, the last two days I've been working to get ready for today's family gathering. But, that's OK. We had a great time. Relative from far and near came to lunch and exchanged stories from the past and share old photos of generation from the past. My wife was very happy -- that made it all worthwhile.

  • Negli ultimi due giorni ho fatto i preparativi per il ricongiungimento familiare di oggi.
    The last two days I have been making preparations for today's family get together.
  • Dovrei essere in vacanza.
    I am supposed to be on vacation.
  • Mia moglie รจ stata felice di vedere i suoi parenti - che ne hanno fatto la pena.
    My wife was happy to see her relatives - that made it worthwhile.
