Planets Visible to the Naked Eye

Day 312 of My Italian Learning Journal*

A weather announcer on a local TV station likes to mention what planets and constellations are visible at night. For tonight he said that the planet Saturn would be visible without the use of a telescope. The following planets are visible without a telescope at different times of the year: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. The two planets not visible to the naked eye are Uranus and Neptune.
