Saharan Dust

Day 296 of My Italian Learning Journal*

It has been said that something as small as the flutter of a butterfly's wing can ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world. Although my home in Texas is over 7000 miles away from the Sarah Desert, the very air we breathe contains Saran dust. Nature s so amazingly powerful.

Ascolta Questo:
  • Il Texas è più 7.000 miglia (11265 km) di distanza dal deserto del Sahara.
Texas is over 7,000 miles (11265 km) away from the Sahara Desert.
  • Tuttavia, la polvere del Sahara ha percorso migliaia di chilometri.
However, the Saharan dust has traveled thousands of miles.
  • Quella polvere è nell'aria che respiriamo, qui a Corpus Christi, in Texas.
That dust in the very air we breathe, here in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Alla prossima!
